Hi Stress as a pre-heat-treated steel, saves the additional expense and handling of rough machining, hardening, and then machining.

The combined nickel-chrome-moly alloy blend produces excellent physical properties, depth of hardness, resistance to many forms of corrosion, ductility and toughness.

The addition of nickel retards decomposition of austenite and does not form any carbides.

Our Turned, Ground and Polished bars are machined to close tolerances, have a flawless finish and can effect real savings where further machining is not extensive.
