Keyrite Keystock is produced under close control to meet exacting specifications of those who require consistently close tolerances and high mechanical properties. It reduces the possibility of key failure through greater shear strength than is obtained from carbon steels. It also has consistent trueness to section and close tolerances eliminating costly machining at keyways necessary when compensating for the variable tolerances of ordinary sections.
