Abrasion Resistant Steel Plate Uses
Gladiator's abrasion resistance is top of the line. It is dependable, tough, and exceptionally high strength steel. These abrasion resistant steel plates are designed to produce exceptional wear resistance to combinations of abrasion, impact and gouging. It will consistently test at or above its 420 BNH hardness rating. It can be formed and shaped without substantial loss of physical properties and is easily welded by all low hydrogen production welding processes. It performs exceptionally in Chutes, liners, housing liners, wear plates, drag buckets, scraper blades, wear strips, hoppers, as well as in a variety of other uses.
Gladiator Wear Plate Attributions
Our steel wear plate can be formed and shaped without substantial loss of physical properties and is easily welded by all low hydrogen production welding processes. It can be cold formed at 4T minimum radius transvers to rolling direction and 6T minimum radius parallel to rolling direction. Severe bending can be performed at temperatures of 1400/1650F with no substantial loss of physical properties. It can also be stress relieved at 1000/1150F without affecting its properties.
