PROCURE

PRO-CURE is a heat treated quenched and tempered, machine straightened and stress relieved alloy bar. By stress relieving after the quench, temper and straightening processes, the residual tensile stresses are reduced, providing less distortion during machining and better fatigue properties during service. This is comparable in chemistry to AISI 4340, and is vacuum degassed and specially treated for greatly enhanced machineability, excellent internal cleanliness and inclusion shape control. Also available in a Turned, Ground and Polished bar sold as PRO-RITE. Bar lengths 10/12 ft. and 20/24 ft. RL
