Rod is a heat treated chromium molybdenum steel with
exceptional high pressure and high temperature properties, made to
conform with ASTM specifications A-193 Grade B7a. Our Hi-Tensile Tread
Rod is thoroughly heat treated and roll threaded end to end to insure
close tolerances and eliminate waste. Designed for use where resistance
to shock and severe vibration is a must; and with economy in mind.
